The platform
WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla, PrestaShop and more, from their paths and the meta generator.
What runs on top
Page builders, shops, booking (OpenTable, Fresha, Treatwell…), chat, cookie banners (Cookiebot, OneTrust…), email marketing and payments.
With proof
Every technology found comes with the piece of code that revealed it, so you can check it yourself. An image borrowed from another site does not count.
Three answers, never a guess
A check from outside sees the HTML the site sends, not what scripts add later. That is why there are three answers.
- Found
We read it, and it is there. With proof: the ID, the record, the piece of code.
- Not found
We read it, and it is not there. We only say so when the page could have contained it.
- Not read
It couldn't be read, and we tell you why: Tag Manager, a timeout, a robots.txt. It's not a no.
Why it helps
Knowing what a site is built with tells you who manages it and what it takes to change it: a Wix site gets rebuilt from scratch, a WordPress site with Elementor can be fixed in a day. For anyone selling websites, SEO or marketing, it's the first thing to know before pitching.
And it shows what's missing: a restaurant without online booking, a salon with no way to book, a shop that doesn't sell online.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out which CMS a website uses?
Type the address above: the check reads the homepage and looks for each platform's signs, like WordPress's /wp-content/themes/ paths or Shopify's cdn.shopify.com, and the meta generator many platforms write themselves.
Why doesn't it find a technology I know is there?
Because it looks in the homepage HTML. Anything a script adds after loading, or that only exists on other pages, can't be seen from here: that's why we never say a technology is missing, only which ones we found.
Does the check read the whole site?
No: only the homepage, once, the way a browser receives it, and respecting the site's robots.txt. That's where these codes are almost always placed; if a site loads them only on other pages, they can't be seen from here.
Do you store the sites I check?
No. The result stays in memory for ten minutes, so the same site isn't read twice if you check it again, then it's gone. To stop abuse we count how many checks come from each IP address, without storing the address.
Can I check many businesses at once?
On Veezco, yes: every business your search finds arrives with its website already checked (pixel, Analytics, certificate, SEO, speed) and with its contacts. Your first 25 leads are free every month, no card.
